So you know that smoothie I was talking about yesterday? This is it. Drumroll please.. This recipe goes out to all my spinach/kale junkies just like me. I hope you adore this!
These are rough amounts, so feel free to change it up.
My monster smoothie:
- 2 cups tightly packed baby spinach
- 2 cups tightly packed kale
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries (I used fresh, that works also)
- 2 packets of Stevia (powdered)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup ice
If you are post-workout, add some protein powder in there if you’d like. Without the protein powder, there is about 200 calories in this recipe. The stevia gives it a sweet flavor, along with the blueberries. And you get like 300% of your vitamin A. This is love.
